Who operates Honto

Honto is operated by Gabriel Menezes dos Anjos, currently as an independent digital project. For privacy questions, contact menezesofrete@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Honto, we may collect your Google account name and email address, player nickname, room code, game settings, subscription status and technical information needed to keep the service secure.

If you use an AI suggestion feature, the text and options you submit may be processed by our AI service provider to generate the requested suggestions. Do not submit information that you do not want processed.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, create and operate rooms, provide game features, enforce usage limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, respond to support requests and improve reliability.

Service providers

Honto uses third-party infrastructure providers, which may include Google for authentication, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database services, Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing, and OpenAI for requested AI suggestions. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

Payments

Honto does not store complete payment card details. Payment information is handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy and security controls.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and subscription information while it is needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request access or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting reasons.

Your choices

You may play the core game without creating an account. You can sign out, stop using AI features, cancel a subscription through Stripe and contact us to request deletion or correction of account information.

Changes

We may update this Policy as Honto evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
